Wendover Dairy Farm

The only remnant of Wendover Dairy farm that remains is this house, which is modified from the original Mottet farmhouse. Marv’s childhood on the farm had a lifelong influence. He talked about his family frequently and attributed his passion about civil rights and social action to his father and St. Ambrose College. His early experience milking cows, going to school, and playing basketball help explain how he believed they could take on the world if they stayed together.
